"I really enjoyed this session, even more so than the museum speaker. I thought it was very relevant to what we are studying, and highly applicable for many of our expressed future interests and goals.

The speaker was very clear, open to questions and suggestions, and obviously well prepared for the session.

A+

Very good session – learned a lot.
Paul was a great speaker to have in this class. Combines pedagogical considerations with business considerations, which was very interesting and relevant to my career interests.

Very informative. I was just sitting down thinking about how can this product be marketed to the K-12 market. I appreciated the contextual learning aspect of the app. This is the hardest thing for us second language acquisition teachers: factoring in context as we teach.

Really appreciated the organic nature of the presentation–speaker was prepared, but flexible enough to follow the conversation and refer to the slides when it was helpful, rather than sticking to the script.  Very interesting to hear such a global perspective rather than the American-centric I often hear from start-up speakers.  Might be nice to see the slides at some point, but very much appreciated the honest, flowing conversation.

It was great how it was led out of the student's questions.
This guys know how to make learning relevant. no wonder he created Voxy.

I found the speaker interesting and informative. I did get a sense of the way he thinks about the product, as more of a user end and not too techy, which for me is better. I like the things that they are doing. I am not sure about the product myself, but there were definately some great discussions on mLearning applications. The market for MALL is much more vibrant than I had imagined. It continues to be a suprise as to what is really going on in mLearning, I really get alot each time we have a speaker.

The content is really interesting. I like the idea of learning from life concept when it comes to MALL apps. Before this lecture, I never thought of that the Mandarin would be the third language most of our classmates want to learn.

==========

I love the atmosphere and way the discussion was approached. It was very open and Paul was accepting many ideas…a true start-up mentality.

Thank you for taking our feedback into consideration. I really liked this session because it was very interactive and we were able ask and answer questions about the product from the owner and driving force behind the development. I also liked that he was so open to feedback on his product and that he was genuinely energized about improving it according to the user experience. I became more impressed with the product as a result of this session.

Thank you Paul for speaking in class today. I got to understand Voxy more. I feel that it is both an interesting educational tool and a very clever business approach. I can see that Voxy has a lot of potential to grow in the future when it grows to more languages.
